Pricing, scope, process, and how we actually work day to day. If yours isn't here, just ask on a call.
Pricing and scope
How much does monthly bookkeeping cost? +
Three fixed tiers starting at $299, $499, and $799 a month. The exact number depends on your monthly expense volume. See the pricing page for the slider.
What's included in monthly bookkeeping? +
Reconciled accounts, monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, and a short memo on what changed and why. Industry-specific reports are added depending on your business type.
Are there setup fees? +
If your books need cleanup before we start fresh, that's quoted as a one-time project so the cost is clear up front. The monthly fee is the monthly fee.
What's NOT included? +
Tax filings, audit defense, legal matters, anything outside bookkeeping. If something is out of scope, we'll tell you up front.
Do you offer fixed pricing? +
Yes. Fixed monthly fee, no hourly billing, no scope creep without a conversation first.
Onboarding and process
What if my books are years behind? +
Cleanup is one of our specialties. We quote it separately so the cost is clear up front. We've seen worse, no judgment.
How does onboarding work? +
About a week once you approve the quote. We connect to your accounts, set up your chart of accounts, and run cleanup in parallel if needed. You don't have to wait to see clean reports.
How fast do you respond to questions? +
Same business day, usually within hours. We don't disappear on you for a week.
Will I understand the reports? +
Yes. Plain English, no jargon. If something doesn't make sense, we'll walk you through it.
Can I switch between tiers? +
Yes, any month. Move up when things get busier or down when they quiet. No contracts, no lock-in, no penalty.
Can I cancel anytime? +
Yes. No long-term contract. Month to month, leave whenever you want.
How we work with you
Who actually does my books? +
A CPA leads every account. You work directly with them, not a junior associate or a chatbot.
What software do you use? +
Mostly QuickBooks Online and Xero for the books. Industry-specific tools depending on your business (Toast, Shopify, A2X, AppFolio, Clio, and others).
Do you sign NDAs? +
Yes. Send yours over before you share anything sensitive.
Do you work with businesses outside NYC? +
Yes. We're based in NYC and Long Island but most of our clients are remote, all over the country.
Can you make my books investor-ready? +
Yes. We're CPAs, so the books are produced to the standard a diligence team expects. Clean historicals, supporting schedules, the works.
Do you offer payroll services? +
We don't run payroll directly. We work with Gusto, ADP, Paychex, and others, and make sure the books reflect payroll correctly every month.
